Reinforcing the Importance of Agricultural Education in a Suburban Community

Friends and Family of Plano FFA, Inc. is a non-profit corporation created for the sole purpose of furthering agricultural education in Plano ISD secondary schools. Our primary beneficiaries are high school and senior high school member students who raise agricultural project animals for participation in the annual (January) Collin County Jr. Livestock Show's Premium Sale. These kids work hard to raise the livestock, prepare them for show, and (if they "make sale") present them at auction. We're the people in the stands bidding on their animals and making sure those kids know their efforts were worthwhile. Each of these events offers a variety of opportunities for individuals and companies to partner with Friends and Family to reinforce the importance of agricultural education in our suburban community.
