Briana had a lamb (Simon) in 2010-2011 and has a steer (Brutus) in 2011-2012. I have coached my kids' football, basketball, and soccer teams, and was also a Cub Scout Den Leader. I was raised on a farm near Stanley, North Dakota. I was active in 4H and showed steers and chickens. Currently, I manage a group of 16 tax software developers at Intuit and teach various online classes for University of Phoenix. Previously, I was a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt for Delphi in Indiana, a manufacturing engineer and project manager for Delphi in Juarez, Mexico, and a high school math teacher in El Paso, TX. Barbara Fox - VP Publicity 972-567-0719 barbara.fox@pisd.edu I have been part of PESH FFA since 2005-06 school year with my oldest daughter, Melissa, who raised market rabbits and won Grand Champion at County. I have been part of PESH FFA and F&F of Plano FFA, Inc. since 2008-09 school year with Cheryl who will be a senior next year at PESH next year. Cheryl, 9th grade, raised market rabbits, was selected to go to National FFA Convention as Williams Representative. Cheryl, 10th grade, raised market swine (gilt), selected for the PISD PESH Proficiency Award; selected to go to State Convention. Cheryl, 11th grade, raised market steer, made sale at County and Fort Worth Stock Show. Her steer was the first PISD steer to make sale at Fort Worth. She was elected VP of PESH local chapter and later promoted to President. Cheryl, 12th grade, will raise market lamb and maybe market rabbits; will be President of PESH local FFA chapter; went to State Convention. Cheryl also has attended all the local, area, and district meetings available. Cheryl plans to major in agriculture in college. Barbara, mother, minimum involvement (required shifts) for Friends and Family during Cheryl's 9th grade. Barbara became more active with helping at the Friends and Family Livestock Show during Cheryl's 10th grade. Barbara was President of F&F during Cheryl's 11th grade and ran the Friends and Family Livestock Show. Barbara will be VP Publicity during Cheryl's 12th grade. My other two daughters, Melissa and Whitney, helped a lot during Cheryl's 11th grade helping with F&F livestock show and taking care of Cheryl's steer while she was at Convention. This is a great organization to be part of if your child has an animal project. I also have two daughters who are graduates of Plano East. Abby has had two lamb projects and a heifer project. This year she has a steer and possibly another animal project as well. I am an active volunteer leader in Boy Scouts of America and a booster club member for band programs as well as Plano East FFA. I have also been a sports coach and a youth instructor at my church. Kristina Stacey - Chair, Triple R Auction Committee 214-762-1725 stacey.kristina@gmail.com Kristina Stacey is married to Robert Stacey and is a mother of 2 PISD students. Her daughter Kaitlyn is an 11th grader at PESH and is very involved with the FFA. She has raised rabbits, chickens and a pig for FFA projects. She has also been on the Dairy Food, Dairy Cattle and Ag issues teams. Kaitlyn will be an officer of the PESH FFA in her senior year. Dylan is an 8th grader at Hendrick and will be starting at Clark High School next year. Kristina has been a representative for Avery Dennison in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for the past five years. She works with consumers to promote and support Avery products and tools in the workplace. Kristina grew up in Chicago and graduated from The University of Illinois in Chicago. She enjoys reading, traveling and singing in her church choir. She volunteers at her church, the Reformed Church in Plano, the PTA and with the PESH FFA Booster Club. PISD Project Center Supervisor. I look after the overall operation of our facility and serve as a liaison between Agricultural Science teachers and the Career and Technical Education Department. After graduation from Texas A&M, I taught Agriculture for one year at Clark High School in Plano before accepting my current position at Plano East. I have an appreciation for all aspects of the agricultural industry, and have worked in many of them. My goal is for all of our students enrolled in our many Agricultural courses to be involved in some way with the National FFA organization. I feel this organization has something to offer everyone, and students are able to have a great time while preparing them for the future. |
