How Your Support is Used

As Plano grew through the 1990's, new schools as well as new FFA chapters were added to our city and school district. At the beginning of the 2000/2001 school year, funding for Plano FFA student scholarships at the Collin County Junior Livestock Show reverted to our newly formed Combined Buyers Group. Although individual school FFA groups still meet, our efforts are focused on combining all Plano FFA groups as a single competitive and financial force. We are the Friends and Family of the Plano FFA. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization. We assure that purchase money is available for your successfully placing student at the Collin County Junior Livestock Show and other recognition. The money given to successful students at this show is considered scholarship money. The scholarship may be used to offset the project costs as well as future FFA animal purchases, or college funds, or any other purposes you deem appropriate.

How Can I Help?

There are many different ways you can take part in the mission of the Plano FFA.

The Friends & Family of Plano FFA, Inc. is incorporated as a non-profit organization and has 501(c)3 status.

Your sponsorship is used to support the Plano FFA program to "buy-back" the kid's animals at the Collin County Junior Livestock Show's Premium Sale.

Store Purchase Donation Program

When you do your regular shopping at selected stores, you can have a portion of your purchase amount go straight to the Plano FFA.

Wells Brothers Farm Store

When you purchase your supplies/feed from Wells Brothers Farm Store on Avenue "K" in Plano, mention you are with the Plano FFA. Wells Brothers Farm Store then contributes a percentage of your purchase to the Friends and Family of Plano FFA. Thank You Wells Brothers!

Kroger Plus Card

Please download the Kroger Barcode and bring it to the Kroger cashier. Ask them to scan the barcode on the page BEFORE they scan your Kroger Plus Card. This will link your card to our account and Kroger will donate a percentage of your purchases to us. You only need to show the barcode once and it is good for one year.

Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Program

Tom Thumb will donate a percentage of your purchase when you link your Tom Thumb Reward Card to our Charity #11510. Print and complete the Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Form. Turn it into the customer service desk at your local Tom Thumb.
