This year’s event on Sunday, October 21, 2012, will be held at Myers Park and Event Center in McKinney, Texas. See below for details on Ring A & B exhibition for heifers, steers, lambs, goats and hogs.  Proceeds are used to reinforce the importance of agricultural education in our suburban community.

Rewarding Rings Roundup at a Glance

• Heifers: Check in 6:00 a.m. -7:30a.m.; showmanship at 8:30a.m.,
  show starts immediately following
  
• Steers: Weight cards due by 11:00 a.m. (we weigh/no weigh back);
  show starts at conclusion of heifer show with Mini Hereford
  
• Lamb/Goats: Scales open 6:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. (you weigh/5 lbs weigh
  back); lamb show starts at 9:00 a.m. with showmanship, goat show
  starts at 9:30 a.m. with showmanship. Show immediately following
  
• Hogs: Scales open 6:00 a.m. -8:00 a.m. (you weigh/10 lb. weigh back);
  Show starts at 9:00 a.m. with showmanship

• No shavings or straw bedding allowed in the barn; carpet bedding only.
• Showing out of trailer is NOT permitted.
• All Trailers must be parked in Trailer Lot
• Must exhibit in Ring A to show in Ring B for all species

TCCA Heifer Show

• 25 Breed Format
  
• $20 Entry Fee for Ring A (points only)
• $25 Entry Fee for Ring B (points & prizes)
• Showmanship: $5 at gate winner takes all
  
• No heifers older than 30 months
• Check in 6:00 a.m. -7:30 a.m.
• Showmanship at 8:30 a.m.
• Show immediately following

• Belt Buckles to Division and Reserve Division Champions
• Rosettes to Breed and Reserve Breed Champions

TCCA Steer Show

• 16 Breed Format
• Mini Herefords Welcome

• Showmanship: $5 at gate winner takes all
