About the Contest

Important Dates

• Open for online entries: October 15, 2021

• Last entry accepted: November 15, 2021 (by 10.00 pm CST)

• CONTEST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED AND ENTRIES ARE BEING JUDGED!

PRIZES

• Best of Show in Each Division (Adult, Senior Youth, Junior Youth): $$ - TBD!

Divisions & Classes

• Youth (in the 2021-2022 academic year)

  • Senior Youth - Ages 15 to 18

  • Junior Youth - Ages 9 to 14

• Adults (above 18 or above secondary school)

Categories within each Division

• Large Animal: Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Deer, Moose, Llama, etc.

• Small Animal: Poultry, Rabbits, Parakeets, Guinea Pigs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Hamsters, Snakes, you get the gist!

Submission Requirements

1. • Photo Properties:

     1. Name of the file: YourName_Division_NameOfPhoto.xxx

        1. example: HankWilliams_Adult_FunnyBunny.png

        2. example: GarthBrooks_Jr_Buttercup the Steer.jpg

   • Ensure your file/photo is large enough for clarity (please no thumbnails).All submissions will be electronic.

   • All submissions should be the product of the entrant. Copyright infringement will not be tolerated.

   • Copyright will remain with the entrant, however, an entry in the contest grants Friends & Family of Plano FFA the right to use photos in conjunction with current and future photo contests.

   • Each photo can only be entered in one category.

   • Color or Black & White may be entered.

   • Still photos only, no videos.

   • Live subjects.

   • The photo should be of the primary category and not include humans.

   • Keep in mind, that a photo/subject can only be entered into one category.

Fees & Payment

• Adult Entry Fee: $10 per photo/entry

• Youth Entry Fee: $5 per photo/entry

• Enter as many photos/entries as you like.

• Online payments are accepted as the final step of your entry.

All decisions by Friends & Family of Plano FFA and the judges are final.
