Who We Are

Reinforcing the Importance of Agricultural Education in a Suburban Community

Friends and Family of Plano FFA, Inc. is a non-profit corporation created for the sole purpose of furthering agricultural education in Plano.

Students involved in FFA are striving to reach their maximum potential by learning how to raise, train and show animal projects, learning to weld and build incredible projects through the Ag Mechanics program, and/or design landscaping and horticulture projects in and outside of the classroom.  These students are seeking to expand their knowledge and learn even more.

Friends and Family of Plano FFA raises funds for students who compete at the annual Collin County Jr. Livestock Show in January.  Those students who excel and are awarded the opportunity to go to the Premium Sale are the beneficiaries of our funds.  These students work hard to learn and increase their experience and knowledge in the Agricultural experience of their choosing.  The money raised by our organization is used to encourage these kids by rewarding them at auction for a job well done.

We host several fundraising efforts each year to help support our students.  These fundraising events offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and companies to partner with Friends and Family to reinforce the importance of agricultural education in our suburban community.  Please visit our Fundraising Page for more information on opportunities to help us raise money.

We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization (Tax ID: 20-3133859 )with a Board of Directors as well as By-Laws.
